Skinnies: 100K views in eight days

Sun care talks in fear. Skinnies doesn't: the sun is something to live in. We built Undies vs Togs, a street interview series that puts summer wear where it doesn't belong and asks people one question: undies or togs? Eight days after the first episode, a video passed 100,000 views. In September the series reached 323,000 views across four channels, and we're only just getting started.

the challenge

the challenge for Skinnies.

Sun protection is a category built on warnings: burns, damage, fear. Skinnies' own brand says the opposite: the sun isn't something to fear, it's something to live in. It needed a way onto social that matched that, in a lane no other sun brand owned.

the solution

the solution for Skinnies.

The same piece of clothing is swimwear at the beach and underwear at the bus stop, and everyone has an opinion on where that line sits.

Undies vs Togs shows people summer wear in places it doesn't belong and lets them argue it out on camera.

Each episode goes out across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
